As already mentioned, there are several useful ferry connections when traveling to the port by car, train or bus.
These ferries not only take cars, but also pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, vans, buses, trains, trucks, mobile homes, etc.

Travemünde (Germany) – Trelleborg (S)
Travemünde (Germany) – Malmö (S)
Rostock (Germany) – Trelleborg (S)
Sassnitz (Germany) – Ystad (S) or Trelleborg (S)
Puttgarden (Dtld.) – Rödby (Denmark) or Rostock (Dtld.) – Gedser (Denmark), and then over the Öresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden or with the ferry Helsingör (Denmark) – Helsingborg (S).
